In-Mold Labeling (IML) Technology Definition:

In-Mold Labeling (IML) refers to the process where, before injection molding, an automated robot precisely places pre-printed plastic labels (e.g., PP/HDPE material) into the injection mold cavity; when the molten plastic raw material is injected into the mold, the label and the plastic fuse together, and after cooling, an integrated product is formed.

01. Higher Durability Never Falls Off

The label and product surface are thoroughly and deeply fused, possessing excellent scratch resistance, water resistance, and moisture resistance—never falling off or fading even in harsh environments.

02. Green & Recyclable Homogeneous Reuse

Since labels and containers usually use the same resin material (e.g., PP), there is no need to peel off labels in the subsequent recycling process—they can be directly melted and reused, making it more low-carbon and environmentally friendly.

03. Reduced Production Processes One-Step Completion

It completes "molding" and "appearance decoration" in one step, completely omitting the subsequent secondary printing or manual/mechanical labeling process, significantly improving overall production efficiency.
